The Acumen Model depends on the skills and knowledge our surveyors, and their ability to bring complete cost certainty to property damage claims from Day One by designing the least destructive and most efficient scope.

Where authorised, our qualified surveyors can forensically validate a claim against insured perils, avoiding the need for hand-off to other professionals, including loss adjusters and traditional surveying services. This not only reduces cycle time but also allows us to offer a single professional fee.

At Acumen, we understand the importance of interpersonal skills and bringing empathy to relationships with customers. This is a major influence on customer satisfaction, but it can also be invaluable in identifying vulnerable customers, detecting potential fraud, establishing where customer choice is applicable in the form of cash settlement, and efficiently and sensitively managing repudiation administration.

Our surveyors are fully qualified and experienced to deliver both Project Managed pre-contracted no-tender approaches, or, where applicable, Contract Administration, JCT, CDM on claims, including party wall notices. Where applicable, Acumen surveyors can work for the policyholder under policy professional fees extension, delivering hands-on advice from time-served and qualified experts.
